What students need for class
Bring to every session
- A quiet space, so you stay fully immersed
- A device with a working camera and microphone
- A solid internet connection
- Digital curriculum access, provided after enrollment
- A willingness to take part in a low-stress, story-driven class
Joining your session
All sessions take place on Google Meet. After you enroll we email a recurring personal invite link for your group, along with a simple guide for logging in the first time. A laptop or tablet works best.
No textbooks. No printing. No extra materials to buy.
Class size, behavior & attendance
Eight students, maximum
Every cohort is capped at 8. We prioritize quality over quantity so that each student gets real speaking practice in every session.
Respectful participation
Students engage respectfully with classmates and the teacher. A supportive environment helps everyone succeed.
Cameras on
Cameras should remain on during class unless otherwise arranged. This supports comprehension, connection, and classroom safety.
Attendance
Consistent attendance helps students follow the stories and maintain comprehension from week to week.
Missed classes
Missed classes are not refundable, but make-ups may be offered when space allows.
Schedule changes
Families may request schedule adjustments when needed. Changes depend on seat availability.
Tuition, discounts & what is included
Monthly billing
Tuition is billed monthly. Families may cancel any time before the next billing cycle.
No hidden fees
No registration fees, no materials fees, and no required textbook purchases. Everything is included, and private tutoring is optional at $30 per 30‑minute session for enrolled students.
Ways to save
- Sibling discount — $10/month off for each additional family member enrolled.
- Create your own maxed-out cohort — enroll as a group of 8 and each of you saves $10/month, for as long as the group remains intact (or you find a replacement for anyone who withdraws).
- 1st semester prepay — $350 for the full Fall semester, paid by Oct. 1 (saves $50).
- 2nd semester prepay — $425 for the 5-month Spring term, paid by Dec. 1 (saves $75).
Discounts cannot be combined. When more than one discount applies, the highest applicable discount or savings option will be used. See Classes & Pricing for current tuition.
How student work and student privacy are handled
A safe online environment
Small-group classes mean a monitored, supportive learning space where the teacher knows every student.
Privacy protection
Student information is kept confidential and used only for educational purposes.
Recording policy
Class recordings, when available, are provided to enrolled families in that cohort only and may not be shared.
Licensed digital curriculum
Students receive secure access to the digital curriculum. All copyrighted materials remain within the student portal and may not be downloaded, shared, or distributed. Parents receive guidance on how to support their student’s use of the curriculum.
Simple ways to support your student
Ensure a quiet space, encourage consistent attendance, and celebrate progress. That is genuinely it. No homework packets or study routines are required — comprehension grows naturally through class participation.
